Why We Exist…

From November of 1982, when our church began, our founder, Pastor Samuel Floyd, has led this congregation in the walk of grace. Here, we openly recognize one another as forgiven sinners; we honor one another as children of God, and we seek to serve one another as brothers and sisters. Following Christ’s example, we believe that in Christ’s church, there should be an abundance of love, acceptance, and forgiveness.

By God’s grace, Abundant Life Community Church is here to bring people to wholeness through God’s grace. We believe that people are whole when they fulfill God’s purposes in their lives:

• We were planned for God’s pleasure, so our first purpose is to offer real worship.
• We were formed for God’s family, so our second purpose is to enjoy real fellowship.
• We were created to become like Christ, so our third purpose is to be real disciples.
• We were shaped for serving God, so our fourth purpose is to practice real ministry.
• We were made for a mission, so our fifth purpose is to live out real evangelism.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -
